Jim Meunier at Sunburst has valiantly persisted in building our wall from salvaged chimney brick in spite of crappy weather. Meanwhile with help from friends Kate, Lita, Stacey and Moira a custom wildflower mix from Saanich Native Seeds was scattered in the meadow around the Kimoff magnolia on soil trucked in from Peninsula Landscaping - all before a first frost. As I write the temps were down to 2 degrees. Phew - just in time.
